UPC in Dublin 2

Trying to contact UPC for the past couple of days but no proper response as of yet. Looking to get just their television service in the Dublin 2 area but I don't know if it's MMDS or not - how will I be able to know? There's a green tick beside 'Digital Television' and 'Digital+' when I enter in my address but I don't know whether this is MMDS or cable...

    Any ideas guys?

Mmds is for country folk. It's cable in Dublin.

Thanks! It's just that I'm not able to get broadband here so I was wondering if that meant we get MMDS.

Any idea as to how long it takes to get tv in from placing an order to actually having it running?

3 working days provided everything at the address is straight forward.
MMDS is in certain town areas also not just rural.
Dublin 2 areas have been upgraded to broadband and phone recently with a lot more areas on the way.

Only maybe 2/3 of Dublin 2 is either already rebuilt or is in the process of being rebuilt. From Harcourt St to Pearse st and bounded by the canal and st stephen's green/trinity/ is still under construction or else will not even be touched this year by the looks of things on the streets in that area.

ted1, there's a building on Merrion Sq with an MMDS aerial pointing towars the UPC site in The Naul? It doesn't get much more urban than that.

Wouldn't change.my.opinion on one antenna, could be incorrectly selected, could be for a private service, could be for redundancy.

Thanks for the help guys. UPC never bothered to get back to me so I'm not going to bother with them now.
