In the €2 Shop I usually get useless crap that I don't need but seemed a good idea at the time. However I saw a HDMI cable for €2 in the Stephens Green store today (where Compustore used to be). Usually I see people moaning online they have to wait a few days for delivery of the cheapest one they can find which costs a lot more than €2. Plus from all accounts I've seen, a cheap one is exactly the same as an expensive one in terms of functionality.

    Hey Lemanee,

Just because you have a few more posts than me you think that make you some kind of Senior Poster Person and what I post is automatically inferior to your divine superiority!

Think I will start a thread about ppl that believe they have some kind of innate/predetermined supremacy due to their high number of posts! ;)

I'll catch on you some day and when I do, you better start listening to me!!!

i strongly suggest to keep receipt for them, as their quality can be extremely poor - my media player don't work with one cable from pair that i bought the other day, they usually are very short too

The clear, see through, own brand Tesco Liquid is far better than any Fairy stuff.

Made from Plant extracts, safe for septic tanks is wrote on it.

    Nice smell.

It's not sticky and Toxic looking like the Fairy/other makes.

Thanks for the heads up. I was just contributing perhaps some useful information on the subject of potential bargains in the 2 euro shop. Lucky for me I have a fancy HDMI cable which came with a very cheap Aldi dvd player years ago. The Aldi player died long ago but when manufacturers didnt supply a HDMI with new stuff I bought (have they all stopped giving out cables?), the old cable came in handy.

Harvey Norman doing a ten portion George Forman Grill for €33, normally €99. Well worth a buy as I love painnis and toasties. Also can be used to cook meat, fish & veg on it.

which one? there are 2 now, close to each other, one is near the church and the newer one is on the same side down further going towards argos.

The newer one has a lot more stuff that is not €2, like big boxes of washing powder and giant candles and stuff €10 or so, its better when they do not limit themselves. It has a name like eurosaver shop, while the old one is called a €2 shop (I know your post said €2 shop but it might be the other.

Some good bars in both shops.

    I'll do you one better.

There's now TWO 99cents stores opened up on talbot street recently.

Both popped up around the same time, but seem to be unrelated. I'm guessing one of them was planning on opening a 1euro store, but then changed it to 99cent store when they saw the other one opening.
