    Hey,

Just wondering, does anyone here know of any part time course/night classes in web development in the kerry area? I'm really interested in learning more about coding and building web sites/apps and would really appreciate any info provided.

    Cheers!

you can do similar courses online (I have no idea if they are any good) ... have a google for distance learning and see if you can find something there.

or just find out what the course content is for a night course and google for you tube video tutorials to explain it.

You are better off learning from from sites like http://w3schools.com (free), http://www.tizag.com (free) or http://lynda.com (great value). Classroom based courses are generally expensive, not up to date and often product suite oriented which is less than ideal.

You can also try TheNewBoston which is free and has loads of video tutorials. I've also used lynda.com which has some great video tutorials but there is a fee.

You should check FÁS, Tralee IT and any place that do the Post Leaving Cert courses. Often they will have evening classes starting in September and January.

    e.g.

Don't think that has any web development, but colleges, FÁS etc. are a good place to look.

try out lynda.com - very good courses and tutorials covering literally everything technology wise you can think of - and it's learning on the go - very reasonably priced too.
