    Hi Guys

    I've been running poker in Whistlers Bar in Wicklow Town, for the past few months, I thought I posted a thread about it here but it appears I didn't so I'll add the details here. The numbers have been steady at around the 15-20mark, but I'm hoping for a bit of a push to get onto 3 tables. We currently have a league running which has a prize for 1st place and a play off for the top 10players in the league. League points are given to all players who take part and are determined by the number of people playing. The Prize for winning the league is €150 and the prizepool for the playoff is Guaranteed at at least €1000. For more details see below the charter.

    Charter

    3. Date and Location of event Every Wednesday in Whistlers Bar, Wicklow Town
    4. Registration and Start time of event. Reg from 7.30 Start @8
    5. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc) None
    6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc.) On the night no maximum
    7. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc.) Texas Hold'em Rebuy
    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc. Buy In €20 + 2 x€10rebuys
    9. Cost of registration €5 (included in the €20)
    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund 100%
    10a. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much €75 for league final
    11. Any guarenteed prize pool. None
    12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels. Max 2 rebuys in the first 5 levels. If you do not use 1 or both before the break you may take 1 or 2 as a Top Up

    22. Are there any cash games offered, if so, please outline the rake for each limit offered. Yes Cash games are offered. 25c-50c runs every night, occasionally becoming 50c-1euro. 1-2games are available. Rake on 25c-50c is 10% capped at 3, 50c-1euro is 5% capped at 10 and 1-2 is 5% capped at 15.

    Tournament League
    The current tournament league runs from 5th of October Until the 6th of December. The playoff will be held on Wednesday the 7th of December. Every week €75 will be deducted from the prizepool for the league, except on the 30th of November and the 6th of December when €100 will be deducted. The league winner will receiver €150, the remaining €650 will be played for at the final table where the top 10 players in the league (plus ties) playoff against each other. The buy in for the final night will be €30 plus 1 rebuy of €20.
    League points are awarded based on the number of players there. First place will receive 11times the number of players there, second place 10 times, 3rd 9times etc down to 1times the number of players for everyone finishing 11th or higher, see the example below:
    17players:
    1st Place: 11x 17: 187points
    2nd Place: 10 x 17: 170points
    3rd Place: 9 x 17: 153points
    4th Place: 8 x 17: 136points
    5th Place: 7 x 17: 119points
    6th Place: 6 x 17: 102points
    7th Place: 5 x 17: 85points
    8th Place: 4 x 17: 68points
    9th Place: 3 x 17: 51points
    10th Place: 2 x 17: 34points
    11th-17th Place: 1 x 17: 17points

    On the 30th of November and the 6th of December double points will be awarded (hence the higher league deduction on these nights). So 1st place will get 22times the number of players down to 2times the number of players for 11+place.
