    As a scientist I cringe everytime I see these words. Very little actual 'science' here and most probably carried out by some humanities graduate to fill newpaper space - Daily Mail I'm guessing

    A statistics,

    measure the frequency of riots and graph that against temperature, noticed a correlation and express it as fact ignoring the impact fiscal markets may have?

    More crimes in hot weather too apparently. People tend to have shorter fuses when they're warmer
