    Hey guys,

Hoping someone can give me some advice!

Have been offered a weeks trial for a job in the agri industry in the UK ,as I have been having no luck here at all. If lucky the position would start in January 2012.

My board & transport will be paid for the week in question, my question is what happens with the social? I really can't afford to come off the dole even for the week , my collection day is a Wednesday but I am going over early on a Tuesday for 7 days.
I would put it down as holidays but I need them for December.

    Appreciate any advice/help
    :D

You need to apply for holidays. You are allowed 12 paid days holidays Jan-December. In December you can apply for the remainder of the holidays and if there are any days in excess they will not be paid.

If you're getting Jobseekers Benefit based on the fact that you have worked and paid stamps you can take you're payment with you to another EU country for up to 13 weeks in order to look for work.
