Matt Emulsion in hot area

    Hi im putting in a stove the very same as this. im using fireproof board arounf the sides and back of the stove. the stove will be 9 inches from each side away from the board and 4 inches at the back. would matt emulsion be ok for the heat in this area. cant get heat resistant paint in any other colour than black and i dont want black

    Ya you should be fine, i have similar fireplace/stove and have painted the side's

    Just paint straight on to the board do not plaster as the plaster will crack from the heat.
