Matt Emulsion in hot area

Hi im putting in a stove the very same as this. im using fireproof board arounf the sides and back of the stove. the stove will be 9 inches from each side away from the board and 4 inches at the back. would matt emulsion be ok for the heat in this area. cant get heat resistant paint in any other colour than black and i…

Ya you should be fine, i have similar fireplace/stove and have painted the side's

Just paint straight on to the board do not plaster as the plaster will crack from the heat.
