heathrow connection coffee

    hello, i am flying to sigapore next thursday i arrive into heathrow at 5 o clock but my flight to singapore isnt until 10 or so can i pop out to the main terminal and have a coffee with a friend who lives around the corner from heathrow. havent seen him in ages and would be great to watse an hour of my lay over. thanks

    You shouldn't have any problem going "groundside" for an hour, just head out after arrival from Dublin and go to the terminal where the Singapore departure is to go back airside.

    yeah this i would imagine what should happen. but i do not have an electronic passport just a bog standard old one.

    You don't need an electronic passport. In fact they probably won't check at all when exiting from the DUB flight and in the other terminal you just queue up with everyone else. Unless you need a UK visa none of this is a problem.
