    This news is most welcome.

Great news, I'll definitely be picking up a ticket on Friday. His last 2 solo shows at the Academy were fantasic, looking forward to hearing some new material and backed by a band again

I saw him in the ambassador and in Belfast the following night. I happened to be in Belfast so said I'd go see him again.
Nick Olivieri supported. Lanegan did some QOTSA stuff as well, whatever he sings with Queens, he did here, songs like hanging tree and so on.......

Awesome news. Anyone know where the tickets are on sale from? A quick look online hasn't yielded any results.

Friday 9am, tickets are €20 which is an absolute bargain for Lanegan!

Tickets purchased. This'll be my seventh time seeing him in his various guises, once with QOTSA in Slane, once with Twilight Singers, once with Gutter Twins, and three times on his own, once on the Bubblegum tour, and twice last year.

All the stuff he's done since Bubblegum has been great, but I'm over the moon he's finally realeasing a new solo album. Eight years is a long time :)

How would one get on this guestlist? :D

Twas just a bit annoying that after queueing up before it even opened, with the idea of getting a semi-decent seat, that they were all reserved.

I got it once through winning tickets in a radio comp, other than that if you have a mate who works for the promoter or knows the band

    Absolutely fantastic gig!

Plus got to meet him after the show and shake his hand! :D

I don't think I have the correct order and I've missed some songs (did he play "Wish You Well"?), the setlist was something like :

    When Your Number Isn't Up
    The Gravedigger's Song
    Sleep With Me
    Hit the City
    Wedding Dress
    Resurrection Song
    Gray Goes Black
    Crawlspace (Screaming Trees song)
    Bleeding Muddy Water
    Quiver Syndrome
    One Hundred Days
Creeping Coastline of Lights (Leaving Trains cover)
    Riot in My House
    St. Louis Elegy
    Phantasmagoria Blues
    Ode to Sad Disco

    Encore:
    One Way Street
    Harborview Hospital
    Methamphetamine Blues

If anyone has corrections I'll put it up on setlist.fm later.

November 25th 2024 would have been Mark Lanegans 60th Birthday.

Long shot question?? Who was at the August 24th 2010 acoustic show of Mark Lanegan and Dave Rosser at the Roisin Dubh in Galway?I have 17 recordings out of a 22 song set of that night. I was hoping to cobble them together and create a bootleg as a mark of respect to this legend and put it up on youtube. Possible title "Don't Forget Me Galway"Let me know if you have recordings of the gig or of the Dublin show on August 25th 2010 and want to contribute to the tribute. This is a fan made bootleg idea to mark the occasion.

Missing Songs: 1. Field Song (first song), 12. The River Rise, 14. On Jesus' Program, 16. When Your Number Isn't Up, 19. Wild FlowersWill be releasing it with or without missing tracks, would still be nice to have a complete set. Also have a lot of the Dublin show recorded and will in time get that up on youtube.
