16GB or 32GB

So I'm going ordering the 4s in the next few days directly from Apple.

If say I used 8GB of memory with music is there any need to go for the 32GB over the 16GB for the sake of €100? How much space do apps tend to take up?

Also when ordering with Apple there are a few options of extras. Besides the protective cover which I assume is essential is it recommended to get any other of the extras when ordering.

And finally what sort of shipping time can I expect. Do they usually get it to you inside the two weeks?

I went for the 32 GB.

I've nearly 5 GB of apps on it. Plus music, photos etc, comes to 14 GB, so that'd mean the 16 would be almost full.

I always go for the biggest possible, had a 16gb 3GS and now a 32gb 4S. I'm a music junkie though so about 25gb of the phone is taken up by that and podcasts.

I've a 16 gb model. have about 500 songs, 245 videos, 1,000 photos, 67 apps and I've about 5 GB left. Only once has it been full when I added a TV series and a movie to VLC player when I was going on a 24 hour journey

So basically, only you can judge whether you'll have enough space for your music etc

It doesn't matter what size you go for - you'll fill it up anyway.

For what it's worth, my phone has only 8GB and, while it's a bit of a squeeze, I've got most of what I want on it.

Cheers for the replies lads. I'm edging towards the 32GB at the moment. Its a bit of a balls having to worry about space which the 16GB might cause me to do. The intention is to keep it at least 2 years so I'm probably better off stretching the €100.

8mp cam with 1080p videos, you will be full very soon, like less then an hour of video.

Go for 32. I had a 16gb 3GS and always had about 1gb free. Got a 16gb 4s and synced the same music and video across. But now there's a lot of games coming out that look and run incredibly well on the 4s but they're massive, some taking up a gig. It's better to have the extra space and not need it than having to selectively sync music, video and apps.

Went for 16GB myself but only because I wont be loading it with music if any at all. Mostly app's.

Go for the 32Gb I'd say. In some ways with iCloud and the ability to add/remove music now on the fly, it makes the process of chopping and changing far easier. I would say really though to go for the 32Gb version as you'll be doing less chopping and changing and I still think you can never have too much memory (but 64Gb is probably just extravagant).

Go for 64gb - the girls will be all over you!

Actually the main reason I went back to iPhone after a couple of generations with android was the appeal of a 64gb solid state phone. I have about 38gb of music on mine now, 7gb of apps and still don't have to worry about space.

    Your contradicting yourself :)

I have 26gb of music. I have had iPods for years. My 32gb 3gs was full after a couple of months.
