Problems with Freesat Signal

    Hi,

    Just moved into new house (based in Kildare). Previous owner had Sky satellite which was left. However cables were disconnected from the dish. I reconnected both of them (presume they needed 2 for sky+). I bought a Bush Freesat SD box in NI, but I have not been able to get any signal from either cable when I connect it to the box. It says 'no signal' and the 'network id' and transport ID boxes are blank. I have entered an NI postcode etc but that shouldn't make a difference if no signal being received.

    Is it difficult to find a signal if I were to move the dish slightly? Not technically minded at all. Any suggestions?

    I wouldnt start moving the dish yet, -you should check and double check the F-connectors on both ends first...could be as simple as that..
