    How the hell does one run up a tax bill of €880k? The one crowd you don't fuck around with is Revenue.

    He must have made absolutely no effort to pay the debt, because bankruptcy in Ireland is a last resort. It is usually the most costly option for all concerned.

    I feel sorry for him, he seems like a nice guy. He had a tough time over the last while, getting cancer twice and losing his mother to it as well. I hope things turn around for him.

    Yep, seems like people are jeering him because they think that's the thing they're supposed to say. Annoying voice and cheesy DJ-isms, that's about it. The music he plays isn't even the worst.

    I don't get the hate for Ray D'Arcy tbh. Granted I haven't really listened to his show for any prolonged period so never had to listen to his opinion on anything. I mainly remember him for his Den days.

    I think the whole hate towards TF is that he's more likely to show up at your local pub with his 'Wheels of Steel' to dig himself out of bankruptcy. No one wants their quiet pint interrupted by steel wheels and karaoke.
