I phone just went blank

    My iphone just went blank this minute and im not sure whats going on .The screen is just black ,nothing is happening when i try power it on and my laptop wont recognise it when i plug my usb in ..Any idea whats going on?

    You may need to reset
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    oh uh mine did the same ... never recovered totally fried..motherboard i think...hopefully yours isnt so bad
