    Hi,

Is there any information anywhere on the ceremonies that are taking place this Friday, and over the weekend in Dublin? An American vet I work with (former USAF colonel) is going to be here and wants to attend the services that are taking place, as he will miss the normal services he attends on Veterans Day at home.

Thanks in advance for any help

Many services/ commemorations between now and Sunday 13th, Christ Church Bray has several services + (an ongoing WWI-WWII exhibition), St Ann's Church Dawson St has several events, St Patricks Cathedral Dublin also has several Rembrance services over the coming days, + nearly every Church of Ireland Church in the country has something on the 11th/12th/13th. So it really depends on where you live, & which Christian denomination suits you.

If you check out the Cork Great War Project and the Cork branch of the Western Front Association on facebook it gives updates on events in and around the city and county. As far as a ceremony goes,I believe it already went ahead today at the war memorial however there is an exhibition on tomorrow in the Bishopstown library.
