    Hi again.
So I invested in a Bluetooth usb thingy to connect my Wiimote to play rom copies of my original games that I have on my laptop. But I am having a lot of problems connecting the Wiimote to the Emulators. The Bluetooth is picking up the Wiimote on the laptop no prob but I seem to be lost as to how to get it to work with the emulators.

Does anyone on here have a easy to follow tutorial linky I could use or maybe tell me how to get my Wiimote working with the emulators by any chance?

    Thanks very much!

I also have the clasic controller, I am guessing I need this too.

This is likely a stupid question, but why the hell would you want to use a Wiimote with a snes emulator?

Not a stupid question. Answer is, I already have a wiimote and a classic controller, I read somewhere last week (can not remember what site it was) that you can use the wiimote/classic controller as a controller on your laptop/pc via a bluetooth connection for gameboy/color/advance/nes/snes etc emulators, so instead of buying a new controller, i thought i should do this instead, save a few pennies an all :pac:

But have no idea how to hook it all up with the emulators cause i cant find that site i saw last week, forgot to bookmark, so i thought maybe someone on here might be in the know, seems stupid now.

Should prob just buy one of these instead http://www.vpgames.com/p-922-super-nintendo-usb-controller-snes-pcmac-gamepad.aspx

Ah I see, the classic controller makes more sense

Tbh it's not something I've ever setup...but if your pc is recognizing it that should be half the battle.

yeah the bluetooth is picking it up no prob. I am just stumped at getting the emu's to pick it up. Oh well, I'll just leave it for this evening.

I've no idea about using the Wiimote on pc but would you need something like Xpadder to map the buttons to keys? Something like that maybe.

You can also use the Wiimote with an iPad and play emulated games with that.

GlovePIE is the software you need. It works pretty well - even the nunchuk is supported. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I've even played a bit of Half Life 2 with a Wiimote. :pac:

Also anybody with an Android device can use something like the Wiimote Controller app to do the same thing.

I bought a usb to classic controller adaptor for about 5 quid of ebay to use Some Wi Arcade sticks that i had bought. That would be a better solution than using bluetooth and wiimote..
