    Holy ****,
Rudi turning up at the end
scared the **** out of me! Apart from that it was a rubbish episode again. Too much brother Sam BS, too much darkness/light BS, Quinn and Debra storyline needs to die in a fire... Utterly sick of this season, two very poor seasons in a row. Doesn't help thought that we all know the big shocker at the end of the season already I suppose.

    I enjoyed it.

I think Brother Sam was really just a way for Dexter to try and discover the light inside of himself, for the sake of his son.

    What is the shocker?

Whatever the shocker is keep it out of this thread. Surely the only spoilers allowed in here are episode-related ones?

I dont think anyone knows, but many have speculated that
The doomsday professor dude is just in Travis's head, and has been dead for years.

I enjoyed it. I laughed at Quinn's "Of course I'm going to play the partner card... why wouldn't I? This is the reason the card is in the fcuking deck!"

The whole episode was a bit of a non event, up until the last 5 minutes it was drab and boring. When is this season going to kick off in the way Dexter does and hype up to the climax? Right now I can't see them building up to anything, unless Harrisson gets nabbed which would up the game straight off.

Yeah that "shocker" mentioned is pretty obvious I think - or maybe it won't be - and that will be the shocker :P

Anyway whats the story about Rudy ?

So is it going to be Harry and Rudy in Dex's head now, like the little God and Devil on cartoon characters shoulders ?

The show will really hit rock bottom when Harry and Rudy start fighting for
Dex's actions- and this will happen.

I still enjoyed it tho, it's better then season 5 - but the lines are getting a bit cheesy - "I'll Prey on him":rolleyes:

That's pretty much it, although Rudy should be in red and Harry in white.

I actually liked the prey on him line, a bit of a quality cheese line in the Dexter mind monologue.

I think people need to read the books. The dark passanger is portrayed differently and IMO in the TV Harry is portrayed as the voice ( passenger) only Dexter refers to it as well. I was pretty tired watching it so must have dozed off as I don't remember Rudy.

I laughed a lot at Masukas line "This is Miami metro, we're all rockstars".

Based on the promo for next week's episode,it looks like that might be about to happen.

Why, just in general, or because it gives more insight into the show?

I watched an interview with the writers/producers before where they said they based the first season on Darkly Dreaming Dexter, but didn't even read the following books, purposely, so that they could create their own developments of the characters without the influence of what was happening in the books.

Disappointed with this episode as I've been loving this season so far. Mos Def is a quality actor and I'm pissed they killed off his character, again Dexter gets close to someone and then they're quickly snatched away. The promo for next week looks a tad mad to be honest,
I assume Trinity's son is taking after his father, seems a bit ridiculous.

Maybe spoiler tag stuff like that for people who don't watch the promos..

    ..like me :(

The fact that they killed him off probably won't stop him being in it. He'll probably be in Dexter's head along with the other two, and Dexter won't be able to get a word in while they argue amongst themselves.

Ahh, I didn't think about that. More Mos Def please.

I hope the return of Brian is going to be an actual plot device for the rest of the season and not just a cameo in the next episode.
