I have a Sako 75 Varmint and i hope to a different stock on it... something synthetic / tactical maybe..
Any idea where i should start looking?

Hi Tac,

When I bought my Sako 75 308, the laminated vermint version with fluted barrel, the dealer had already sold off the laminated stock from it. It had the synthetic stock fitted, which had been pillar bedded. I had to sand out a little of the stock to free float it more than the dealer had done to make sure the barrel didn't touch the stock.

I managed to get an orginal laminated stock off E-bay for little enough money. I pillar bedded the rifle myself and it shoots sub MOA. I still use the synthetic stock for the stalking as it saves a little weight but I put the laminated stock back on for the summer months.

So if your looking to get a different stock for your Sako 75 keep a look out to the BAY.
