Best practice to run cable to a garage.

I want to run a cable to the garage for power and light. Some flourescents.

Garage is about 1 metre from house. I have a spare ways in fuse board. I also have a switch-fuse and an RCBO available. And a small distribution board for the garage.

C type mcb non-rcd protected way for swa sub-main at main db in house

isolating switch, rcbo for sockets and mcb/s for fluorescents in garage db

What CSA for the SWA cable?

I would be using a drill or a saw.
