So that's the Autumn series finished with no wins to our name and only one half decent performance against France to our name. (As an aside I'm delighted for Joe Taylor, played against him before and he's a great footballer).

We're in the group of death at the world cup against Australia, NZ and England. Should we start worrying about cricket scores and humiliation?

sorry, you're right. still Fiji beat us handily enough at the last World Cup and I feel we've gone backwards. It's a real shame as this could be a great opportunity to showcase the game to potential fans and players.

This side is a lot younger than the world cup squad. With most players under 25. Aston is keen to look at his options early and develop players. This may not mean we win straight away but the performance against france showed how much they've come along in just 3 weeks. Damien Blanch is also to come back in as is Ryan Boyle and possibly Scott and Simon Grix.
