I was planning on getting the DART from Graystones or Bray to Landsdowne (recently moved to Wexford) but was told that the DART is not currently serving Landsdowne due to flood damage.

Can anybody else confirm this or have any idea if it will be running for the match??

What is the easiest way of getting to the stadium without using the DART??

You can get off the Luas at Charlemont and walk down, about 20 minutes. Park & Ride stop at Sandyford as well.

4 and preferably 7 bus gets you to Ballsbridge too and walk, dunno what the traffic would be like.

The no 2 and 3 bus go through Ringsend from the city centre too, dunno if that's better for certain parts of the ground (North/East 'stands'). I do know for last year's cup final that was in a pain in one's backside getting from Ballsbridge round to the East Stand, a good long walk. Might be different for Ireland games of course.

Train services may be back by tomorrow depending on today's test. We can only hope....

As a backup, you're about a half an hour walk from the Burlington. So any of the buses that go up Leeson St and cross the bridge (46a, 145, 10) are an option. Just follow the canal.

And kudos on the use of Lansdowne, btw.

I totally forgot about that & I'm going to it myself.... ****. The 7, 45(which comes from Bray) & the 4 from what I know go by it. A 45 for yourself would be a safe bet. I'd try to get on one early enough though as I presume most people coming from South Dublin have the same idea!

Get the dart as normal. Get off at Booterstown and get on the shuttle bus.
You could otherwise stay on the Dart till Sydney Parade (current last stop) and walk the remainder (20 mins or so). Anyone coming from North Side can get the Dart to Grand Canal dock and walk the remainder.

    Unless the full service resumes.....

iarnrod eireann claim the station will be back open on the 11th! so as long as they don't f*ck it up too badly it should all be running!
