Boards, my new procrastination tool.

So it is currently half 3 in the morning, I have to be up at half 7 and I have been on boards for the last 3 hours. What makes it worse is that I have work to do:o. I just came on for 10 minutes to see what the craic was and each and every time I would look at the clock I would scold myself but then I would see a thread which is followed by another thread. I am a procrastinator by nature but even this is taking the piss and boards is like my peer who is pressuring me into just one more thread. I think I have a problem you guys, I suggest Boards Anonymous, BA, we should start a thread. But then I suppose that would be like a Sex Addicts meeting in a Brothel. So yeah I'm screwed.

I do the same thing the whole time with Boards and other online sites/activities (so many hours wasted on donkey porn).

The only solution is to switch off immediately. When it starts getting too late just switch off your computer and walk away mid sentence. If you say your finishing the thread/the page/the post etc. you'll be stuck in a loop for ages. Time can slip away very easily.

You commented on a thread of mine last night around that time, if I'd known you had work to do words would have been had! :P (actually you did mention your assignment but I was wrecked with exhaustion myself last night so it didn't register)

Got some done last night, not as much as I would have liked to. Got an hour and a half's sleep and nearly fainted in college, highly embarrassing, will not be doing that again. I shall be finishing some work tonight hopefully.
