Am I making a mistake?

Sorry if this is a little long winded. I would really appreciate some advice.

I met a guy some time back through an online dating site. He would not be my normal type and younger than me. However we really clicked and had chemistry. We were only meeting for a couple of weeks but it was intense and I was so comfortable with him. He said he felt the same with me. I am extremely slow to trust and questioned if we were exclusive too quickly. He didn't like it and we split, over text. I tried to contact him by text and email after this to meet and discuss but he blanked me. The thing is I am still thinking about him. I have met a couple of guys since but there isn't any chemistry and I don't get the same vibe. I was thinking of contacting this guy and asking him to meet if he is still single. My friend is telling me he treated me badly when it finished and to leave it. Am I mad to contact him? I'd be very hurt if he blanked me again.

There's your answer. Delete his number/email address and try move on. He sounds like a total waster.

He is going to keep blanking you so if you are happy with that then contact him all you want...

Why would you bother? It seems like you got too attached too quickly and then wouldn't accept it when it became clear that it wasn't going to go anywhere.

Just leave it be, there is nothing to be gained by contacting him yet again and you will make yourself look overly eager and unable to take no for an answer.

    Move on.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.. I don't want to make a fool of myself again. I'll try to maintain some dignity and stay away from him.

Ignored calls and texts are simply the other person's non-verbal way of telling you that they're not interested and that they want you to take the hint and clear off.

Don't contact him - ever. If he was interested he would NOT blank you in the first place. I have being there and as much as I wanted to contact the other person (after being blanked once) I held myself back and boy am I so glad I did! Time is a great healer, you will forget him eventually and find another man who will treat you how you deserve to be treated.

Don't try just do it. Why would you chase him now?

Thanks. I know you are right. Time will hopefully help me move on.
