Problem with Gamecube's visual signal.

Recently picked up a pre-owned Gamecube and it works fine on my Sony Triton. Oddly enough though, the visual signal doesn't come through on my ole Philips. The sound is fine, it's just the video component. I used to play my previous Gamecube on this TV all the time and it worked just grand. Any suggestions?

Are you using *shudder* COMPOSITE video?

I'm not, just the standard Gamecube AV cable methinks, not the digital one.
