    That box is no good for Saorview as it does not support the MPEG4 high profile required for HD broadcasts (only RTE2 so far).

    It won't get satellite channels either, but will work for UK standard definition terrestrial aka Freeview.

    You in galway ? you must mean saorview and satellite ?

    i'd say the ferguson ariva combo box might be your lowest cost option for both in one box .

    yes thought it might be no good . might go for the ferguson box as its looks like good value.
