I work in the hospitality / tourism industry. Sometimes there is only 7 hours between finishing one shift and starting the next. Is this legal? From what I can find most industries have to have an 11 hour break but some industries are different.

The norm is eleven hours between shifts in certain industries like transport bus/truck drivers can bring their dailly rest period down to 9hrs in a week but this time must be recompensated the following week.
