New computer.

So I want to get a new computer. I want to build it myself for the experience and because I heard it's cheaper. I will be using it for general use and games (not a crazy amount, but I plan on getting Guild Wars 2 when it comes out). I had speced out a computer a few months back which came to about 700 euro but due to money issues I need to drop my budget to about 500 - 600 euro.

So I have a few questions, where is the cheapest place to order pc parts that ship to Ireland? Is 500 - 600 not enough for what I need? I've also been told that in this day and age the processor should really be quad-core (at least), is this true? How good of a graphics card should I be aiming for? (Recommend one?)

So as you can tell, I'm looking for the cheapest I can get while at the same time still comparable todays standards to last me a while.

    Thanks.
