Ordered a pair of these last week and came next day. Gotta say they're pretty neat, if your like me and get bright red ears when it's cold then these will keep your ears nice and warm, the sound is grand, nothing special, but the best thing is the mic on the wire so you're able to answer calls without taking off the earmuffs. You can chat on them and answer calls as there is a button on the mic like the apple ones.

They fit quite comfortably behind my head but after a while they do start to pinch your ears a little

    anyways here is the linky

Thanks OP these look great. Iv just bought 2 pairs of the woolies for me and my gf, hopefully they gonna work with the iPhone! My ears were frozen off last year waiting for the dart and the crazy delays! These should keep me nice & snug

Got these today, I nearly cried when I saw the size of them, thought theyy were for kids as they look very small when folded. However I stretched them out and they fit my fat head perfectly. Now bring on tghe snow!

They look even more hilarious when you give them to someone that don't know they go behind your head style, and they try to put it on their head like normal ear muffs and just look silly. :-D

Got mine today, they're actually pretty good. Volume a little low, although i'm half deaf.

I seen a pair almost identical to these in Carphone Warehouse in Maynooth...

Well, I think they're almost identical but I'm not 100% sure as I haven't looked at my ones I ordered yet!

They were only €13 in CPW though which kinda had me thinking..

I'll report back if they're the same when I get home and open my ones.

aah, maybe try the equilizer/sound enhancer settings on your ipod or whatever you got. Sometimes with these cheaper headphones the equalizer settings make alot of difference. On my HTC has 3 main settings, 'Dolby Mobile', 'SRS enhancement' and then the normal 'Rock,RNB etc.' settings, I have found 'SRS enhancement' works best for these ear muff things, and when I use something like my Sennheiser Headphones it's better on the 'Rock' setting I find.

i bought one of these for the girlfriend but they are too tight around the head.

how do you adjust the size of these ?

I cant seem to work it out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 105 ✭✭007.57

I have found are putting them on you first at the largest size, then holding the two ear parts on to your ears and pushing in the middle of the band at the back with your fingers to adjust the size

I dont think they work trying to guess the size before you put them on

you need to put on first, then adjust

I can feel 2 little plastic strips at the back of the band that adjust

they feel a little strange at first because they sit behind your head rather than over your head, but ya get use to that after a while

cheers ill try adjust this later

do these work for the iPhone 4S?
3.5mm connector looks VERY thin so I'd imagine so.

Has anyone been let down on delivery of these headphones?
I got an email on the 13th to say my order had been dispatched but when it hadn't arrived by the 21st I contacted them and then received a reply from Barry Malone saying that if they hadn't arrived with the post on the 22nd to contact him before 1pm and he'd express post a delivery to me. They didn't arrive so I did as he asked.
I never heard anything till just over an hour ago when I got an email saying my money had been refunded.
I've emailed him since but nothing back yet. Anyone else run into difficulties?
