No ring of lights, no display

    It was working fine yesterday but I turned on the xbox today and only the green LED light in the centre of the ring comes on. The ring of lights dont flash at all. I can here the fan going and the CD drive opens but no display or sound.
    Google isnt helping me.
    I done the usual reboot/unplug everything. the controller wont connect either.
    Any suggestions? Ive a feeling something terminal is wrong :(.

    turn it on and let it sit for ten minutes,
    I had a rrod xbox before that wouldn't display the red lights for ages.

    Make sure you av cable isn't damaged,
    Try another av cable
    sometimes it can be that

    It simply turned itself off after 5mins.

    Your av cable is broken so,
    Either that or the av plug on the console is damaged
