PS3 Controller Rubber Coating Thumbsticks

Hi

Dont ask me how but the kids have taken the rubber coating off the 2 ps3 controllers.
Looking to replace them , where can i get these ? Any discount sites online ?

I see some for sale on e-bay but they say the controllers must have the original rubber on the controllers or the thumbstick caps wont work.

Any help appreciated where to find them cheap online

Was hoping i would be able to pick them up fairly cheapily on a website like dealextreme.com, but no sign of them yet

I havnt a clue, will those thumbsticks work ok and easy to put on ? (just in work at mo and cant click the link )

I had the same issue. The kids tore the rubber coating off the stick on my controller.

So I bought a new "Genuine Dualshock 3" here on adverts. Despite looking genuine (even the packaging), it wasn't smooth. It stopped working a while later, and when I took it apart, it was obviously a fake. The battery was labeled as a Nokia battery, but it wasn't even a real Nokia battery. Wasn't impressed. I removed the stick, and replaced it into my old genuine controller and it fitted!

So if you can remove the stick from another controller, even a non-Sony one, it might work.
