    hey y'all

have a student ticket booked online for the 315 train from tralee to dublin tomorrow. would love to travel on the 115..

Am told of a surcharge of up to 40euro on the website?

    Anyone any experience of this?

would it better should I just book a new single ticket?

do they practice this surcharge, is what im saying. :)

    thx.

It tends to be quite fickle, partially depending on how diligent the staff are.

As the fare on both trains appears to be the same, I am under the impression there would be no surcharge. However, this assumes you paid the full €33.50 student fare. If you paid less, there may be a surcharge fo the difference, but the exact calulation appears obscure. talk tot he ticket office in Tralee as early as you can tomorrow.

Make sure the ticket is endorsed!

What does a new student single cost? If it's cheaper then it's obviously better!
