water pressure

    hi looking for a bit of help with my boiler two days ago we got a leaflet from dublin city council saying we would have no water for 2 days as they are doing water upgrades anyway water is back on but our boiler is not working the pressure is all over the place i repressurised the system using a filling loop but still nothing ,the pressure keeps getting high and knocking the boiler off

    The water off should have made no difference to your heating, why did you have to repressurise the system.

    Did you close the filling loop when the boiler reached one bar. Also when the pressure got too high did it blow the safety valve.
