What is your biggest regret interview question

I have been told to prepare for this interview question for a graduate position. I honestly don't know what to say for this. I don't have any regrets as I haven't had opportunities to do so. Before making a decision I think about the consequences and outcome thoroughly and am happy with my decision. Do I be honest and explain my situation, or do I make up something like picking a tougher module to study.

    Any help appreciated.

Is this not a bit too personal of a question to ask?

Come on now, you have no regrets whatsoever?

    Worst question
"What do you know about our company"
I proceed to tell them what I know from researching the website and what I got from papers etc.
"I don't care about what our website says, what do you know about us?"

Arsehole, didn't get the job but I now know the response to that question is "While I don't personally know anyone who works in your company, from researching your website and looking at X Y Z online I have discovered that you are renowned for X having participated in X deal.."

You were in transition year or maybe doing some college project and you saw an idea to start a little business and make some cash but you were apprehensive and never followed it up

That's what I would say, just tidy up the wording and expand it a bit
It may well be true, lots of people have great ideas but very few do anything about them

This question and many like it are examining you ability for "self-reflection" and "self-analysis". Perhaps they need someone capable of looking back at their decisions and evaluating them, learning from their mistakes and improving the quality of future decisions. They do not care about the actual regret that you identify in your answer, they need to know that you are capable of identifying what happened, how you could have handled it better in hindsight and what you learned from the experience.

Tell the truth at an interview. It won't hurt and when you are under pressure it is the only version you will be able to remember.
