I have read the other board posts .. just can't get what I'm looking for.

I haven't worked for about 3 years .. But now have started a new job I get paid monthly.. I do not have my p45. I was just wondering who do I ring about sorting out my emergency tax.

Any type of help would be welcomed .. Also if you know how much tax would I deducted if earning just under 10 euro P/H.

    Thanks
    Nathan

You ring the tax office 1890 333 425 let them know where your working and they should sort out your credits and standard cut off point.

As for how much tax your going to pay really no one can work that out on the info you have provided, you need to know how many hours your working are you getting a single credit or married, are there any other credits your getting ie rent credit

If you did work this year you would have received a P45 from your last employer but if you havent worked this year a form 12a needs to be filled out nut if you ring the tax office then you may not have to do this depends on who you get

Get your employers tax number. Ring the tax office with this. They will send out a tax credit cert to your employer via post or through revenue on line (ROS) and that will sort it out for you.
