Can anyone tell me when applying thermal paste to a CPU and GPU do you also apply to the heatsinks or is applying to the CPU and GPU enough?

apply to the chip itself, and only a small pea size'd amount. plenty of youtube vids if youre confused. make sure to clean the old stuff off properly though!

Something to mention about thermal paste: I've never, ever, in over seven years of PC building, seen anyone apply too little thermal paste; it's always right right amount or upwards.
