Lion question

    Hi.

Is there a shortcut in Lion to swipe to switch between "spaces"? So I could do 3 finger swipe up to get into mission control and then do a gesture to swipe from space to space similar to how ctrl-arrow does. Also is it possible to move to space one when you scroll to the right of the last space? (so have it circular)

Also has anyone been able to stop full screen apps from being moved to a new "space" and how the hell do you properly see windows when you swipe up over a bunch of windows in mission control if you have more than 3 windows open? the text gets way to small.

Also is there a hot corner or gesture to display all windows, like in snow leopard, and similar to how you hover over a group of apps and swipe up in Lion?

    Thanks.

There is a gesture to flick between spaces, yes.

How would you handle a window being full screen if not in a space? If you unfullscreen a window, it goes back to the space it came from, typically the first desktop space.

Yes, hot corners are still there.

4 fingers up for MC and 4 fingers left or right to choose space... I'm guessing 3 fingers for you by the sounds of it?

    Thanks.

No I have only installed Lion on a macbook which has not got full gestures on its trackpad.

I would handle fullscreen apps the same way I handle them now, I would fullscreen them and switch through exposé or alt-tab etc.

I think I will upgrade to Lion over christmas.

If you would handle fullscreen apps the same, then technically they're not fullscreen! That said, there's no need to even use fullscreen mode! The green button on the title bar still functions in the same way.

I don't really fullscreen much at all. iTunes, Mail and iCal suit fullscreen mode quite well, even on a high res screen. Fullscreening Terminal is amusing too.

Chrome goes fullscreen in SL as does skim (pdf reader/editor) and a few other apps.

I dont think I have ever used that maximize button, I install rightzoom each time I re/install. Fullscreening terminal in Lion was amusing yes, exiting it was easy….. not really.

Thanks, does anyone know of a way to make the "spaces" list loop around so when you go right on screen 4 it will loop back to screen one?

You can use the dock when you enter mission control but not spotlight, which is slightly annoying especially considering navigating using MC is much harder/takes more steps.
