Moronic couple in their mid-twenties thought it would be a good idea if they, well they felt that .. ah here, sure read it yourself:
Dog fed LSD by naked couple is hit by car

(CBS NEWS) SNELLVILLE, Ga. - Police said a dachshund was hit by a car and injured Sunday night after it had been fed LSD by its owners. CBS Affiliate WGCL reports that police responded to a call Sunday evening of a naked man and woman running down Pinehurst Road.

According to Captain Harold Thomas, officers knocked on the door of a house and Nicholas Modrich answered the door naked.

According to police, Modrich and Jamie Hughes, both 25, told officers they had taken LSD, and had given some to their dog Oscar, who was missing.
"They were tripping pretty hard," Captain Thomas told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Officers began to search for Oscar, and learned he had been hit by a car on a nearby road.

After being hit, Thomas said, the dog bit Modrich's mother and brother.
Gwinnett Animal Control took Oscar, but Modrich's family requested he be taken to a private veterinarian, police said. His medical condition is not known.

Police said a search of the house uncovered drug paraphernalia and marijuana. No LSD was found in the home.

WGCL correspondent Mandi Milligan writes that Modrich and Hughes are expected to face drug charges - and possibly animal cruelty charges - upon being released from an area hospital.

It's not in the article but poor Oscar had to be put down in the end.

I've never understood peoples fascination with giving dogs drink and drugs. I've been to numerous house parties where people who are after having a few decide to feed the dog some beer or such or blowing smoke into their face. For one it's cruel, if they did the same to a child people would be up in arms, I've lost it with a few people who say they were only having the craic. Idiots:mad:

No doubt someone will be along to claim their dog loves a smoke as much as they do.

Jesus christ, wouldn't a regular dose of LSD for a person be equivalent to a much stronger dose for a dog? People like this should never be allowed to own an animal again, stuff like this makes me so angry.

Here, lad, I think these people are clowns too but just because some crazy ladies like to call their dogs their "children", doesn't mean you can go comparing feeding drink to dogs and feeding drink to children!

I also don't make my baby go out the back garden when he needs to take a sh*t! (Trust me, when the missus isn't around the change the nappies i've been tempted)

Firstly I'm not a lad, secondly I agree with ya dogs are not children but it still doesn't make it right. My point was if someone was doing that to a kid then people would go mad myself included, but people seem to turn a blind eye when it's a dog, sure it's only a dog like. But at the end of the day a dog would be just as scared and bewildered as a kid if it was drunk or off it's face. Sorry if offence was caused, it certainly wasn't intended.

Yeah but just because it's a dog it doesn't mean you can just jump to comparing this animal to a child!

"I had a party last night and someone sh*t in my dishwasher! If someone sh*t on my baby there's be murder!"

    Get what I mean?

I do I get you, that dishwasher thing was funny by the way:D It's just that I always get the ''sure it's only a dog argument'', but when I put it into the frame of would you do the same to a kid it usually gets the response of no and then they start to think. The only reason I make to comparison is because both kids and animals are usually fairly dependent on humans for their care and once I say that I usually get a sorry. I know of a dog who is terrified of anyone with a cigarette because at a houseparty someone tried to make him smoke it. So it just pisses me off. Again no offence intended.

I'm not offended at all. And I get your reasoning. But when it comes to a baby I don't think there's much of a difference when comparing them to dogs, dishwashers or anything else.

By the way, dishwashers depend on humans to care for them too. I once put my dog in charge of looking after it and he took a sh*t in it!

    One mystery solved!

People however seem to be just a tad more emotionally attached to their children than their dishwashers:p

Ah, so you're NOT a lad.

Because if you were, you know the answer to the question of "Would you rather a puppy or a machine that will save you from ever having to wash a dish again?"

Giving dogs drugs for the craic is a bit lame. Although I have seen a few dogs enjoying the sh1t out of themselves after a little bit of cannabis space cake. Play time was on another level altogether.

Not just 'naked' - no, according to the Daily Mail, the couple actually:
    ..ran around the neighbourhood naked.

    .. with no clothes on.

Battered, bruised and in need of a fix I'd say.
