Anyone watching this fight?? Absolutely cracking first 2 rounds so far. Both hit the floor in the first, and its been back and forth ever since. Anything could happen! Definite FOTY candidate.

Expected Angulo to knock him out brutally, couldn't stay up that late here to watch it though. From what I've read it was a cracking fight...

Angulo was his usual crude self but he wasted all his energy in the first round, great fight though.

Yeah, fantastic fight. Obviously the first round was the highlight, but even in the rounds after when Angulo was gassed there was still a sense that anything could happen. Good stoppage too, Angulo was taking some sick shots against the rope.

I thought Angulo would be the tougher of the two, but fair play to Kirkland, he recovered the better and after the first Angulo was never really in it, although you could never be fully sure!

There's talk now that Kirkland will face Alvarez. Despite what some may think I'm certain Canelo will do a number on him! Far too much skill, to go with his power and physical strength. I don't see Kirkland going past half-way.

Still not really convinced with Alvarez to be honest.

He still hasn't faced anyone of worth, who's he fought? The crapper Hatton, the ****ter Cotto and an ancient Baldomir, never made much of Rhodes either.

Not saying he won't amount to anything, he's young and seems to have a lot going for him. I'm just not going to get hyped up about him until he's beating a decent class of fighter.

Cintron should be a good fight for him though.

I'd say even with Kirkland's chin, that fight is a lot of trouble for Alvarez.

Angulo really gassed out after that first round. He took some serious punishment from then on in...

Aha, at last we have completely opposite views on a potential big one - can we wager on this when the time comes?

I see Alvarez finishing him off in the mid rounds.
I'd be surpised if it went any more than 8.

The skill difference is enormous. The power and strength is not much different. The defence and chin are definitely in Alvarez's favour.
