Config router to wireless

    Get broadband in rural Model county wirelessly(skytel) very pleased , got my computer man to put in a router to take their signal and feed it too my desk top and the chaps laptops and notebooks etc via cable . All grand . Now her indoors wants santa to bring her a kindle for Xmas . It appears Kindle only down load books wirelessly . Router has wireless capability(Linskeys wireless-G 2.4) but never got it configed for same (didnt want younger chaps online other than under watchful eye).- is it a big job to do config sorry for long ramble and layman speak

    Normally, connect to the management address of router & modify the wireless to set to enabled. It will ask for an encryption type (choose "WPA" at least, but not "WEP") and then a password.
    But you're now opening what you wanted closed off to protect the kids, so either set a password you're not going to share with them, or look into a filter system (additional hassle)...
