my m9 + 1911 keeps releasing gas

    they keep releasing all the gas after 4 or 5 shots any ideas would be much appreciated :(

    this happens in the cold weather, particularly with full metal pistols.

    could be a different gas system in those other pistols. if you wear your pistol in a shoulder holster your body heat will keep them warmer than a belt or leg rig.

    also rapid shooting of the pistol will cause the gas to vent, so space the shots out a bit.

    I had the same problem with my Bell 1911 and KJW M9A1, on two mags for each gun, i agree with thermo- rapid firing and cold weather

    Another cause is the loading nozzle sticking on the piston head in the rear of the slide. Users have tendency to lubricate the entire underside of the slide and not touch the piston head. Pull the loading nozzle open and do a light spray of silicon onto the rubber head.
