    Hello,

I am doing research on financial regulation in Ireland and I am particularly stuck on the resolution of bankrupt banks in Ireland and the applicable law for this. The Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Act 2010 does not explicitly refer to resolution of bankrupt banks, but it could perhaps be used as a means to restruture with a view to winding up.

I know that the European Commission is currently drafting legislation for the orderly winding up of banks but it'll be at least a year before this is in place.

Anyone have any ideas?!? Anything would be really really appreciated.

    Thanks!
