    Hi I'm looking into getting a bike licence and I cant understands how it works.

    What type of licence do I get first, I'm over 18 so can I get a licence for over 125cc or do i have to start out under 125cc? Thanks

    Nah you can get a license that will be restricted to 33bhp so if you wanted you could get a bandit 600 restricted to 33bhp . Insurance would probably be crazy but its possible.
    Don't forget you will have to do IBT.

    Apply for the A licence.

    And when you do your test do it on a big bigger than 125cc or else you'll end up getting the A1 licence instead.
