There were a few promo pics, but I think I went for the right one...

    :D

The team takes on a missing persons case and have to establish themselves as Carmichael Industries in the face of a rival security firm led by Gertrude Verbanski (Carrie-Anne Moss). Karl Sneijder (Jeff Fahey), "the president and CEO of diamond giant Natal Jewelers," and his kidnapped brother Wesley (Justin Hartley), respectively.
Meanwhile Morgan adjusts to being the intersect and Chuck being his handler.
Also the Buy More finds a new and unlikely spokesperson who helps to drum up business.

It appears that Morgan's brain is incapable of surviving the intersect, so it looks like he's gonna end up losing it at some point in the near future.

    Big meh for me.

Richard mentioned on the Nikita thread that it just wasn't the same show any more.

I think for me, that distinction goes to Season 5 of Chuck.
Still watching because I want to see how it ends.
The sooner Morgan is just ... Morgan, the better.

I thought it was a great episode, had everything that makes Chuck good.
A good few actual lol moments, especially Captain Awesome walking into the Buy More!

Morgan is pretty annoying as the intersect, but tbh if he didn't have it this season he wouldn't be doing anything else at all... so interesting to see where they go with this!

The fighting scene was good (especially the sword guy at the end).
Mike: "I'm getting a little Tired of Jeffster" - Lester: "... me too." :D
Morgan as the intersect is yawn. I presume Chuck will be getting it back quite soon.
    The preview was good.
I assume they'll remove it from Morgan - due to his brain not being able to handle it well - and 'transplant' it back to Chuck.
I guess that's why at SDCC Fedak couldn't answer the question about why Chuck's brain supposedly being special, but now everyone's getting the intersect.
What someone mentioned on the FB page, that makes sense: It's showing Morgan that just having the intersect doesn't make you a spy, and that Chuck doesn't need the intersect to be a spy.
It's still only EP02, but it's strange some more recurring characters aren't in it yet, e.g. Chuck's mother, Alex (even though there was a picture of here on Morgan's desk).

I thought it was a definite improvement from last week. I did laugh at a few moments. Casey is my favourite character so it's nice that
he might be getting bit of action soon. His nervous phone call to Gertrude was great.

Morgan is pretty irritating to watch, hopefully he won't have the Intersect much longer. Zooming is not the same!

somehow i dont think morgan got a secure intersect so to say, i dont think its being rejected, id say its something like what volkov got, and its creating a new idenity in morgans brain,

i thought the episode was stupid at first, with morgan running off trying to run missions and all that but the end made a bit more sense,

looks like carrie ann moss should be sticking around for a bit, i didnt even recognise jeff fahey in the episode, i saw his name and noticed it, i just didnt recognise him:D,

I thought the ep. was meh also, like alot of people the fact Big Mike signalled what alot of people think...i'm sooooo over Jeffster, it seems Fedak agrees!, no laughs at all...only interesting bit was the end with Morgan, who's Luke Skywalker?....intersect gone wonky!

They need to trasplant that plot idea soon and get Chuck back on track, the writing/plots are rather poor....but it's the final season so it dosen't matter. NBC only greenlit S5 so Chuck could reach syndication numbers, thus no effort (or budget it seems) is nesscary.

Actually, this season is 13 episodes. So does this mean we'll get it pretty much finished in January or will they they take an unnecessarily long break to show the last few episodes? Hopefully not the latter...

No it's has to be the intersect affecting his brain.
Morgan forgetting all his geeky facts is a perfect (for chuck) plot point to set up Morgan as big bad and still retain sympathy for him.
It also explains the quickness of his character change.

but the intersect frys your brain immediately if your not wired right in the head, its always been that your brain can either accept the intersect or not,

the only person known to have a personality change from having an intersect was volkov,

The GRETAs become more aggressive (sorta) + were willing to shoot chuck when they had the intersect (which was a modified version of Chuck's latest one (IIRC) - from the Laptop), and their personalities changed (back) as soon as their project was cancelled, so they did have a personality change.
The two agents, Noble and Dunwoody, had their Intersects removed and expressed sudden relieve, and immediately regained their emotions back as the NCS modification of the Intersect originally suppressed this. Noble even conveyed his amazement at Chuck being able to handle the mental stresses of the Intersect for the past four years.

Maybe Morgan will have to get it out of his head and they'll be without an Intersect at all!!! No Intersect = no show, this is the last season.
