    Munster Rugby: Recruitment Drive

    Dear forum readers,

I have been contacted via the Munster Rugby branch to forward a message to all forum readers and rugby enthusiats within the provence.

    "A Chara,

It is with great pleasure that I am to inform you that Munster rugby is begining the second phase of the Munster Rugby Professional recruitment drive.

After unsuccesfull attempts to breed Johnny Hayes with Alan Quinlan, Munster Rugby are now accepting applications for the privalige to train with the senior rugby side to give you a chance to prove what you can do with a rugby ball.

After the massively impressive first round of recruitment, the landscape of the Munster squad has changed significantly, with almost all applicants being offered a senior cotract to play any position of their choice.

Munster Rugby recruits arrive for training as the next generation of working class ligind heroes

Applicants must be at least 36 years of age to be eligable for the academy+ system, and must take the Munster rugby oath on commencement of the programme.

"I [name] do declare, in sound body full of turnips and mind full of an unqualified sense of entitlement and grandure, that I will honour my birthright of chip on shoulder and talk numerous amounts of rheoric involving the words brave, passion, believe and fait, that I will conduct myself in the greatest working class traditions of paying €10,000 plus per season to travel all over Europe to watch mediocre rugby at best and will, under no circumstances, accept any reality other than the one that is presented to me in the 2006 DVD season review, and I will at all times travel to the Heineken Cup final, regardless of who is playing, and wearing my Munster rugby jersey, to advertise that I was stupid enough to believe at any stage of the season that Munster would come within an asses roar of the Heineken Cup final again."

Since the closure of the original academy system due to it being a complete waist of time, it is of the upmost importance that you get your applications in early, as you may be required to play next weekend.

Finaly, I would just like to take this oppertunity to thank you for your continued support of Munster rugby, and if you are a Leinster reject reading this, please arrange a time to get on the train to Limerick and tell us what number you would like printed on the back of your jersey and what your jersey size is.

And remember, the mickey mouse league doesn't matter, it's all about Heineken Cup, just like we always swore up until 2009....

Munster fans display their indifference to the trophy that does not matter, as they are above it.

Only sing when you're winning Munster Rugby. In BOD we trust.

I was so happy reading this. I thought I was going to have a chance of following my dream and being a professional rugby player. Now my hope have been crushed. The mods should ban Thomond for this.
