'Other' space on iPad 2

    Hi there,

I have my 16gb iPad 2 about 2 weeks now & am a little concerned about the amount of space been taken up by 'other'. This is now just under 2gb. I have tried deleting what I would consider the space hungry apps, have deleted my mail account & even done a restore (from backup) but no joy.

I'm just wondering has anyone else had this problem? Is it anything to do with the IOS 5 upgrade (and if so will there be a 'fix' released by apple?

    Thanks.

Have you had movies on your iPad. Sometimes when you delete them it only wipes the file name so the iPad doesn't know its a movie and it get categorised under Other space. If that fails re-sync with all connections off.

Thanks Le King, will try the re-sync as you suggested but how would I remedy the movies issue?
