    Surprised at the most unfavourable grouping , the 45+, I thought it would have filtered down to the younger crowd by now.

    the younger crowd may be much less likely to identify as RC, so those who do class themselves as such may be more loyal types.

    Yeah, the older ones are the people who feel most let down by the church.

    The younger ones probably never had the same 'investment'.
