Good Red Dot?

What do you want a red dot sight for? That is definitely worth thinking about. Quite a lot of people start buying tonnes of accessories, for no reason at all. They just start accumulating gear, which most of the time will remain unused, and ends up getting sold on Adverts.

So, why do you want a red dot sight? Is it for the cool factor? In which case, your best bet is to go with something that looks fantastic, perhaps the Aimpoint Military sights, ACOG-style red dots, or EOTechs. Are you looking for something with a more open lens to avoid tunnel-vision? If so, then you're into Aimpoint T1, EOTechs etc.

It's all about what you want from it. And if you don't want anything from it, then ask yourself why you want to buy it

I've used one of those red dots for CQB with excellent results. Despite the low price it is just as effective as any other red dot sight I have used and it was a lot more effective than an €80 Eotech replica that I bought.
