Can involuntary patients to psychaiatric care fool the nurse & psychiatrist that they are infact not unwell? -For example, perhpas a disorder which provides episodes of anger, agression, and depression: (bipolar/ manic depression/ hyper mania/ unreasonable agression)

Its a very tough call to section a family member involuntarily as one might be doing more damage than good - or one might save them from their illness? Does anyone have any advice when a patient may just have serious personality disorders and drug addiction opposed to suffering from the disorders mentioned above.

Are the gardai helpful with this - it just seems a family member could live in fear of that agression turned on them? tricky bizness
There must be a lot of people out there who dont get the care they need

Appreciate any advice for a hypothetical College project

given your thread in legal issues, I really doubt this is a hypothetical person /scenario for the purposes of a college project.

you/ a family member need to seek medical advice.
