my brother got a 85 200cc trike but due to some trouble the gearbox was removed and was left lying about and as result all the little gears are mixed up

he took to a few mechanics but they had no ideas at all.
was going to try main honda dealer but probably charge arm and leg for it if they knew anything either

to be honest I doubt any one at honda has any experience working on 26 year old trikes i'd say you would have better luck with kavo at CCM racing in dublin. He's got a lot of experience with motocross bikes

IIRC those trikes had a version of the Honda XR 185/200 engine, they should be easy to rebuild if the parts are all there.
Any good motorcycle mechanic should be able to rebuild the g/box easily.

They stopped making trikes for a reason, 1 wheel at the front makes them totally unsafe.

Its more the idiot behind the controls thats unsafe, have you ever drove one. A lot of the reason people were killing themselves back in the 80's on them is no one ever wore helmets.
