Hard Contact Lenses

I've just discovered I have pretty bad vascularisation on both my eyes and my consultant has recommended hard contact lenses, on the days I need to wear lenses. I believe these can be very difficult to use and just wondering if anyone has experience in wearing these?

They are difficult to get used to, especially after wearing soft lenses. Build up your wearing time very slowly and wear them EVERY day and you'll forget they are in your eyes after a month or two.
You may find that your vision is even better than before with hard lenses.
    Good luck!

I guess he meant GP lenses.
Great if you wear them every day for at least 8 hrs. Much better and sharper vision than soft lenses. Also easier to handle for cleaning etc, I even run mine under the tap sometimes when needed ( not officially recomended of course).
