Depends on the outside radius on the tyres and on the type of diff your car has

OT, but I was laughing the other day, the mother cracked one of her alloys and she sent it in to be repaired. To my amazement, she had an 18inch space saver :O Looked well, to be fair.

On topic, I have 18's and I drove around for two months with a 15 inch on the front and I never once had any single bit of bother. The only thing I noticed was the smaller wheel would spin alot easier, hence why the tyre was bald when I took it off :o

I can't see the problem. It's not like you have a limited slip diff/ 4 wheel drive system to worry about. Every wheel is independent to itself. You're standard spare with it's high profile tyre is fine.

Space savers are way smaller than normal wheels and they are standard kit in most cars these days. Your existing spare should work fine going from 17" to 18".

Doesn't really matter so 15,16" will do..if you have one small wheel on the front + a bigger one on the opposite side the car will pull a bit to one side aswell.
